If you’ve popped onto this post, chances are you’re having a tough day. We all have bad days. No matter what anybody says on Instagram, every single one of us have bad days and we just need a bit of a pick me up.
I get it, you’ve got goals you want to meet and you’ve got weight you want to lose, a career you want to go in a different direction and today you’re just not having it. I’ve been there right in your shoes, I promise. There were days here in the not too recent past that I was needing to lose weight, and I’m not talking a little bit of weight, I’m talking 60+ pounds of weight from a medically challenging pregnancy. There were days that I didn’t want to get out of bed, let alone go to the gym or for a run!
It’s called being a human being and sometimes we simply need a boost to get us either through the day or through a really rough season of life. These are examples quotes and my faith were what got me through the hard times and accomplishing not only losing over 60+ pounds but of starting my own business and taking charge of my career and life.
They’re awesome examples of what some words of encouragement can do.
Going through hard times are what make us who we are. We don’t allow ourselves to be defined by the bad times, but we allow them to refine us and it helps us connect with other people and help them through hard times as well.
Hang in there, sister. This too shall pass. It may pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass and you will come out stronger than before. Don’t ever give up on your dreams and goals.
NOTE- These are not original quotes (meaning I didn’t personally say them). I put on the graphic if I know who said them. Therefore, if you see one that doesn’t have the person who quoted it and you know who DID say the quote, please drop me a note and let me know so I can update the graphic!
